It’s not hard to tell that I have been essentially neglecting this blog, whoops. I tend to share more on Instagram and Facebook these days due to time limitations, however Carmen and Dylan’s wedding called for a full blog post and one look will tell you why…

Congrats to an ambitious, driven, fun loving and completely loveable couple! From the moment I realized they were having a square dance at their rehearsal party, I knew that their big day was going to be one to remember, and it certainly didn’t disappoint!

Mama & Me mini sessions

We all know how important our moms are and the joy it brings us to browse photos of her through the years. As a mother to three young kiddos, I know how hard it is to get in the frame and in fact I have moved forward ‘self portraits with kids’ on my bullet journal to do list for a good year now. Although amplified by being the photographer in the family, I know that I am not alone in my worry that outside of the smiling selfies, I have a very small presence in our family photo collection, just google search any variation of “Mom, get in the photo” for confirmation. So mamas, let’s make a conscious effort to exist in our kids’ childhood photo collections.

In honour of getting Mama in front of the camera, I am offering Mama & Me mini sessions. A short and sweet 15 minute session in a classic and timeless studio setting (see my previous “My Mama’s Dress” mini sessions for a glimpse of the studio setup) with 10 high resolution images included. Multiple generations encouraged!

Just a note to stop and say thank-you to all of my wonderful clients over this past year! I truly appreciate the support you continue to show me and my work. Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you! Magical Christmas wishes to each and every one of you.

As for winter availability, I will be taking a number of winter outdoor portrait sessions as well as at home lifestyle sessions. I also have availability for weddings for this upcoming 2019 season.
